









Happy Christmas Eve! Today was a good bake with 17 loaves through the ovens. In addition to that, I baked 4 dozen cookies and bagged up 5 dozen more frozen. Not seen are the 4 pizza dough balls going out today as well. The house smells wonderful, probably because of the Rosemary crusted Focaccia bread I made for us later today. Yummo!









Just started to make sourdough bread, I received a starter from a chef. So far I have made two loaves, on the stater that o received. You must have a few starters going to make that many loafs.
Hey! I have just the one starter, his name is Wheatley. I keep a big pitcher of it in the fridge and refresh him once a week. When I bake, I make an active feed the night before I make the dough. Any extra starter from the previous week goes into cookies!
