As we near Easter, I am making a test batch of “themed” chocolate chip cookies to hand out as “taste test” samples for anyone ordering bread this week. The cookies are my regular Sourdough chocolate chip cookies, but I am subbing in a mix of white chocolate and pastel M&M’s. They are going to be fun! If the response is good, I’ll be offering them the following week before Easter.
Also, I have had a request to have a go at making Sourdough Matzah. As of this post, I am about to make my first test batch, 18 minutes or less from start to finish. Again, if all goes well, I’ll offer this to anyone that is interested.
Lastly, No Friday bread this week as the wife and I have plans. So, the end of week bake will be on Thursday instead. It’ll go back to Friday next week, and I’ll be able to bake more as well if there is a need for Easter breads. I can even bake on Saturday next week if there is enough demand.
If you’d like a loaf this week, see below what loaves are available for each day. If you need something specific, shoot me a message and I’ll see what I can do.
- Regular loaves (available Monday & THURSDAY) are $10/each
- Specialty mini-boules (available on Friday) are $6/each
- Pizza Dough balls (upon request) are $6/each
- English Muffins (4) or Toasting Bread (upon request) are $6/loaf
- Sourdough Peanut Butter Cookies are $10 per dozen
- Sourdough Cookies (Chocolate Chip or Oatmeal Raisin are $10/half dozen or $18/dozen – Frozen or Baked
For the English Muffins, Toasting Bread, and the Pizza dough balls, I need two-days notice to prepare.
