Now that my daughter’s wedding was a HUGE success and is now behind us, I am starting to make some new Sourdough Discard cookie creations.
First up is a classic that I think will be sure to please. It has many different names: Russian Tea Cookies, Mexican Wedding Cookies, Snowball Cookies … just to name a few. I converted an older recipe handed down through the years to incorporate my sourdough discard into it. And let me tell you … WOW. The sourdough flavor really pops and is a very nice contrast to the sweet pecan flavor.
